Is it possible to have a 68 1o bolt rearend with no #'s on it? I've wirebrushed it from one side to the other and can't find it.

thewebb1,
Some of the stampings I've seen are more toward the top of the axle tube, but still on the front. Both rears I have now are like that. It took me forever to find one. |

It took me a long time to find my numbers. Keep looking. Scott is right... a lot of light helps.

I found mine on the RH side above the spring perch. It was difficult to get my big'ol mellon up and around the shock to see all the numbers.
