Default 67 Camaro SS 350/4spd

I had a look at this car the other day. Capri Cream 67 Camaro SS Van Nuys #s matching 350 4spd and non oe 10 bolt rear. 4p code on the TT VO0825MS on the block, The floors and body is pretty solid, trunk pan a little punky. ....WIW?

$6500 And that is exactly how to present one of these "what is it worth" threads. Good job.

A 67 SS is not a high dollar car. All depends on your reasons for wanting the car. If its because you REALLY want the car then the dollars don't matter that much. But if you want it for the dollars you think you can make you will be in a world of hurt.

Don't think I would pay 5k for it I feel the color hurts it for some people . In the end it would need everything including a 1500.00 67 rear. Maybe a nice project for your self but not to finish and sell

Thanks guys. I agree the color is not the most desirable either. So my question is this. In this case, would changing the color have any great affect on its value?

$4200-$4500 and it's not an easy flip. Although, not too bad as a home project. I thought the 67 350 grille emblem had the "350" under the "SS".

There were a lot of '67 SS cars built, just under 30k in total but the car should not be underrated either as it introduced the SBC 350 to the world and was the only car it was available in until '68. Add the 4 speed into it and you have a really fun car! That said, this car's been through a restoration or at least a repaint and that is a good indication to look for hidden bodywork and rust as well. You'll probably find a lot of details wrong and unless you are a DIY type you'll spend more than it's resale to get it nice. For someone wanting a project and willing to accept that hobbies and recreation cost money it could be a good start on a cool car but like I eluded to, watch out for hidden rust and previous repairs! I'm thinking buyer value is somewhere in the $4k - $6k range, seller probably wants closer to $10k though...

Yes you are 100% correct. I'm interested in the car but the seller is standing strong at 10k.

And there is a good chance if the seller is in no hurry he will get close to what he wants but that doesn't mean folks should accept the asking price. If a few months roll by and the right guy doesn't surface the seller will probably start to rethink the market.

I'm so glad the days of "show up with a trailer and the asking price in cash in your pocket because if you don't the next guy will" are over!
