My heads have a casting number of 3932441.....these are in a 69 RS/SS with a build date of Sept. 1968 / Norwood car....I am 99.999% SURE that these heads are the originals for this car....I am also sure that it is an RS/SS.....could these possibly be correct? (I have owned this car for 15 years, all other numbers match)

according to how to rebuild a small block chevy book, they used those heads from 67-72 on 327 and 350's.

I know these heads are the correct "era"....but everything I have found says they are from a 250-255 H.P. setup....I'm just wondering if they could possibly be correct on my '69 RS/SS......

Head #3932441 used in 1969 Chevy Pass/Chevelle/Camaro/Chevy II 350 engines rated with 250, 255 HP with 1.94/1.50 intake/exhaust valves with a 76.26 Combustion Chamber. Chevy by the number also states its identical with #3927186 except with a redesigned combustion chamber and different external identification markings. side note also said head was also used in 1970

Those are definately not SS-350 heads.

'69 SS350's used either 3927186 heads (with smaller 1.94 intake valves, vs. the same head on a Z/28 with 2.02 valves), or 3947041 heads (1.94 intake valves).
