hi. i have a 68 ss camero, 350 with powerglide. i have reason to believe it might be an rs also because its got an rs hood release but the rest of it is gone. is there anyway that i can find out if it is an rs also. i'm possibly the third owner so i have no plates or anything. i was thinking the guy took the grill off and the head light doors and sold it separately. i've got a regular 68 grill in it. is there a web sight i can visit?

If it is an original RS... the back-up lights will be under the rear bumper. Other than that...I can't think of anything else.

Sang, Along with the backup lights that mccorry pointed out. Check the headlight switch for vac hoses or ports where the hoses would go. Can't imagine anybody replacing the switch unless it quit working!
I might be incorrect here but I don't think you could get an SS with a powerglide. SS350 = TH350 and SS396 = TH400. Someone will provide the facts if this is incorrect. http://www.camaros.org/ has some good info that should help you. ------------------ ...DjD 69RS Ragtop www.fbody.com/members/topless69 |

Also look for the hole in the firewall for the vacuum hoses to go through.

In 67-69, you could get a SS350 w/ a Powerglide. Esp in 67-8, cause the TH350 wasn't in production yet.
