Question

i'm still trying to figure out this 69 HA block.
there is no block casting no. that i can find any where.
and no partial vin.
but remember its a 3970010 block.
i thought the 69 production year extended into 1970.the 70 model being late that year.

would 69 camaro's that were built in 1970[if thats what happend?] have 3 letter suffix codes on the motor??

------------------
69 Camaro RS/SS 350.
GM 2.02 slant plug heads.
223 dur/480 lift hyd cam.
69 z/28 alum high rise.
69 z/28 780 vac sec holly carb.
4 bolt mains,steel crank,forged flat top pistons.
Turbo 350 2800 stall with shift kit.
3:73 12 bolt posi.

My "69" Z-28 was built in Feb.`70
If I remember correctly there was a way to distinguish this "70" style by looking for Gills in the door area .

Arrow

so feb 1970 eh ,big red. are you sure? is it the original motor?
do you have the numbers off the front of the block?? is there a 2 letter suffix or 3 letter??
the gills on the quarter panel are a trim package item on any 69 camaro.

Those ARE the hard facts, Z/27 camaro.

The 1970 Camaro was released for sale February 1970 meaning they were in production several weeks prior.

The car may have been purchased in February 1970 out of dealer inventory but it was built no later than 1st week November 1969.

The CRG has 25 11A cars on the db, none later.
