I don't get it. If I am into first generation Camaros, and am looking for one, never in my wildest dreams would I go to one of those musclecar dealers, with all of the fancy showrooms and checkered floors, and pay an ungodly amount of money, for a vehicle that is realistically $5-10,000 less?

I understand the profit end of it and they have to pay overhead, etc., but who is actually paying $24,999 for a NOM RS turned SS clone? Are these guys kidding? I see ridiculous prices all over the place, especially in the mid to high $20K range, but who is paying for these? Original matching number Z's, matching number BB Convertibles, I understand, but an RS or even an SS with no history or matching numbers!?! Has our class of vehicles elevated to Corvette status?
