I have a 67rs that I just took in to the body shop to have front cowl and header painted. The shop mgr. pointed out that I didnt have the rocker chrome strip along the bottom. Do I put this on the list to make it right? The shop mgr suggested a resto not GM for this area because of the abuse it takes riding that low. This car is show quality any input would be appreciated

Sorry if this question is stupid! I have holes for the clips in the rocker panel and all of the upper chrome is there. I had a base camaro in the past that had rocker trim only. Does the RS have both? The RS cars I have seen only have the upper.

I beleive the 67 RS cars had a long spear type molding on the rocker ( like 68 69 Camaros ) and a wider molding above it on the lower front fender lower door and quarter panel between the wheel well and door.
