Purchased PUI window felt kit # O235-10 approximately 4 years ago. Began installation of this product this this week, yeah I know I like to be prepared. These look like crap, fitment is near perfect but the quality of finish is sub standard.
For instance, the ends of the pieces look to be cut of with a chop saw, and as a result ends are abrupt and sharp. If someones skin or clothing where to catch on this it could do damage to the person, clothing or the piece.
The quarter window flap at the rear (triangular piece) looks like it was cut by a 5 year old kid using his grandpa's w-idling knife?
Question: Has PUI made refinements since my purchase to make it worth while for me popping on the new ones? Or am I better off just trying to make these work by crimping the ends some how and w-idling some more on the rubber triangle?
