I am currently looking at what I think is a 70 1/2 Camaro Z/28. On the cowl tag it has Nor on it for the Norwood plant but it only has 28.10 on the cowl. I thought that if it was a true 1970 1/2 Z/28 it had to have the Z also stamped in front of the 28.10 but maybe I am mistaken, any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Ryan

I don't remember if all 70 Z's were like that, but most had just the 28 stamped on them. The 10 tells the stripe color.

The car is a Z28. The die for the "Z" must have been damaged at one time, as there are plenty of cars that are stamped with just 28. The 10 is for white stripes, and 19 is for black.
