I found my build sheet for my Van Nuys built 69 RS/SS on the drivers side top of my gas tank. I made sure my tank had little or no gas in it and took off the 2 bolts holding the tank. Then I lowered it enough to where I could see the top of the tank and sure enough, there it was. I took the tank off to make sure I wouldn't mess up my sheet. I ended up putting it in a clear sheet protector to keep it together. Now I finally have some true documentation that my car is a true SS. Just thought I would let everone know, I have had this car for 20 years and finally checked the last place - on top of the gas tank. There must be other cars out there with this.

My 70&1/2 RS was also built at Van Nuys, and that is where I found my build sheet, on top of the gas tank. Mine was not in very good shape, but it's in a ziplock bag now. I can verify the Van Nuys plant, the RS option, and a couple of other things that I can't remember now.
