Hi Mike B. & Kurt, I noticed in a couple of posts you've mentioned SS hood springs being different. Curious what the diff. is. I thought they'd all be the same. Just when I thought I knew it all. (just kidding)

I noticed your post (obviously before Kurt did)

Check out the following from the CRG site : http://www.camaros.org/underhood.shtml

It explains the differences in detail - I loved it - as soon as I finished reading, I had to go pop the hood.

Thumbs up

Well, slap me, kick me, beat me and color me humble. I seeeeeee oh wise ones. Obviously I will ALWAYS be learning something new about these beautiful sculptures of artwork.

Hello Jim in alaska, first I'll have to root around in my parts to see all my springs now. I have about 3 extra sets of hinges & springs. I will be looking veeeeery cloooosely at them now.

I need a set of springs for my cowl hood 69. Is the correct spring still available from GM and if so have they changed the part number?

Try Here: http://www.partsvoice.com/Parts_Locate.htm

You input part # - it spits back whether anyone has one - and who has one closest to you. If part # is no longer valid - it'll tell you.
