Question

I'm building a 68 with a big-block, a Richmond 6-speed, and a 9-inch. I'm looking at the Cal-tracs bars and Souside Machine's Lift Bars. Has anyone had any experience with either/both? My car will be used primarily for street driving in the summer with an occasional trip tp the track for fun. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've heard the caltracs are best. Don't affect handeling either.

I used Competition Engineering traction bars for 67-69 Camaros and they work well. If you go with traction bars, CE is the only one I am aware of that sells bars specifically for 1st gen cars. Most of the others sell them for 67-81 Camaros and these don't fit as well.

My caltracs were very easy to install and look/work great. The price can be a major turn down but they are a quality setup.
