I'm working on the C4 corvette brake conversion for my 67 outlined by Rich Downing & David Pozzi. I've got my brackets made and calipers mounted and it has worked great so far.

I'm to the point where I need to get my custom brake lines made. I know that the C4 caliper uses a 10mm x 1.0 banjo fitting but what size in the banjo fitting in the 4th gen Camaro rear caliper? I can get the lines made much cheaper by mail order so I can't just take the caliper to them.

Im doing the same swap on my 67 Firebird. My stock rear hardlines seemed to thread into the 97 Camaro rear caliper hose lines. And for the front you can try Baer or any company that makes braided lines, and just tell them what you are connectiong. Like 67 Firebird hard lines to 96 Corvette calipers, and they shoudl be able to just make them for you, but they arent going to be cheap. Or you can always get some thread adapters, but you run the risk of leaks and thats more of a temporary fix. Heres a pic of my rear brakes http://members.aol.com/georgebow/images/aug01$01.jpg

Wink

As it turns out the Camaro rear calipers take the same 10mm banjo fitting as the C4 front caliper. Once I get the hoses made it will be time to bolt it on. I'm looking forward to that, four wheel drum brakes can be scary sometimes
