I have 255/50s out back on mine with 16'' rims. They look great... except that my car is sitting a little high at present. up front they are 225/50. Check it out. www.geocities.com/boodlefoof

My '68 has 245/60/15s. 255/50/15 are 2" shorter than 255/60/15s and don't quite fill out the wheel well. I've seen 68s with 255/60/15s that fit. Go to my link and you can see how the 245/60 looks. The car is stock ride height. I can get better pic if you want one.

I have 255/60R15's on my 68=-- go to the performance forum, and a post a few days ago "a setup that works" I replied and put a link to a photo-- hope it helps.... I agree, I think 255/50R15 would be too small-- I'm pretty low and the 60's fill it nice.

I was actually looking for 265-50-15s, but may be able to use the 245s. I'll see what I can find out. Meanwhile, where are you located, how much do you want for the tires and are they new? If not, how old are they? I would love to see the pictures. Contact me at onebgndn@ix.netcom.com

Thanks
