What do you guys/gals use to move your car around when the subframe and rear are removed?

I'm cramped for space so I will need to move my car in/out of the garage to work on it.

I moved mine with a 2x4 under each side where the sub frame bolts up with a 4x4 across the two with a floor jack,my rear was still in the car though. it rolled very easy as the half of a car was light.you might be able to rig up some swival wheels on some 4x4's for the back.
If you can I would sujest a body dolley that would also allow you to roll it to work on the under side while standing.
I think they run around 1500.00 though.

Ditto...2x4's, 4x4 posts and a couple of friends. I also put the car on a small lawn mower trailer and pulled it in and out of the garage.

I built a 2x6 frame as a body gig.put 4x4's in the corners about 12" long with some casters bolted to the bottom of the 4x4's,rolls like a dream.The gig will slide in between your jack stands for the install,i even loaded it in my car trailer for the trip to chem strip.Hope this helps.

I just got 4 vehiclemoving dollies from harbor freight. a few blocks of wood and bingo!!

The slickest set up that I have seen was a welded up frame that bolted to the frame mounting holes in the body. It had a trailer hitch on it and with the rear axles on you could take it any where. The guy did a lot of restorations and he had a set of dolley wheels that bolted ( quickly) to the front of the frame to move it around the shop. It was really cool and not a lot of work. If you needed to take the car to the paint shop you just rolled it away, with the suburban.
