Can anyone tell me if the 2 pair of heater hose nipples on the pump and manifold are supposed to be zinc plated or are they orange overspray? On of each set is a pressed in pipe and the other 2 are long neck threaded nipples which will be partly exposed once assembled with a hose.

Look in your A.I.M. - if the nipples are shown with a part number, they were installed at the assembly plant and they're zinc-plated.
