Post a pic of that "treasure" you have.
Something rare, new in box, well preserved? Let's see that crossram, four wheel discs, ZL1, rare option or small part you bought and never used. A model, rare photo, part, box, option, something you'd pull out and show to a fellow Camaro nut that came to visit... Anything that's interesting to see or has a great story behind it. To keep the server load down and help us dialup guys, please keep the images around 320X240 pixels (half size) and low resolution .jpg so they load fast. If you do it right you can get them under 50k, some WELL under. Thanks, David

I wish I had a working camera right now.....I have a bunch of Brand new (unused and lightly used) Guldstrand suspension and TRACO engine products circa 1967-1969.
An original TRACO oil filter bypass, a remote filter mount and the machined road draft tube plug (all never used). The slightly used stuff includes a pre-Winters manifold, a Harrison surge tank.....a standard sized small journal 302 crank (pristine) and a few sets of the rocker arm oil clips. Suspension and drive train stuff...... OE JL8/J52-J56 brackets, front and rear. A 'Donnie Araki' M22 and a 'Jim Rupe' M22. A collection of sway bars and some other various knick knacks.....OE 67 pitman and idler arms in cosmoline in the 67 packaging......and I have a line on more of them...... Although, I do need a spoiler.......Dennis.....?. |

I gave up trying to post pics....I have an original "engine hold down cable/clamp" (don't know that they're rare, I don't see too many left), I have my build sheet, and several rare posters...

COOL!
That's what I wanted to see and read about. I've got some stuff to show but need to take the pics in the next day or so. Here's a little something I picked up along the way. It's not a Camaro part though, it's an experimental GM fuel injection manifold, has a 0- part number.

Here's an Edelbrock X ram. I think the model is STR-10 from memory. STR=Street Tunnel Ram. A guy from Edelbrock says this one has 30 hp over the GM one...

Tom, send me your parts and I'll take pics for you!
I have a 1969 budweiser can found behind the trunk drop-off when they were replaced.

Neat topic David, I had to remember to take a pic of the headlight washer solenoid I recently acquired from a fellow TC member.
If some company could re-manufacturer this, they would make alot of money.

1967 Yenko Camaro prototype fiberglass sidepipe covers.
Yenko had these made by a local shop in PA to use as Camaro side pipe covers. I guess he was looking for a low cost alternative to the Corvette metal covers. Sidepipes were an option on the 67 Yenko Camaros. They are too thin and cracked around the screw holes and were not used. These came from the Yenko estate sale and I have the receipt from when they were made. |
