Where do I find a Model # on an Edelbrock carb? Is there a site that find an instruction manual and tuning tips for those carbs? I am really familiar with the Holley, but not the Edelbrock. I am getting a bit of hesitation right when you step on the gas to get going.

Thanks

Bob

Great choice on your Edelbrock carb! I am no expert on carbs, but these are a piece of cake to work on.

Check out Edelbrock's site here and click on carburetors on the left side of the page. Then click on "Edelbrock Performer Series (EPS)
Carburetor Owner's Manual"

Also, contact them and ask for an owners manual.

The location for the model number is on the lower front right corner. Something like 1405, 1406, etc. That will tell you the size and if it is an electric choke model or not.

I believe it is stamped on the front left (as you look at it mounted on car) base flange right in front of where the forward passenger side carb stud is.
