I checked my printed circuit. I took the tach out of the dash and bench tested the tach and nothing works. The clock never worked but the tach is in perfect shape. I think its the little resister pad thats behind the tach face. I once saw that resister pad on Ebay but at that time, the tach worked. I can't believe how much it will cost to fix, $250 to $300 dollars. I would like to know my options, and if I can just get that resister board.

If they are not still available let me know, I think I have an old one in one of the boxes of stuff that I can't bring myself to get rid of!

I had mine reworked. It is much more accurate with the new movement. It cost $200 three years ago. The section of the replacement tach that extends behind the cluster is larger than the original and requires massaging one of the column supports.

I have a 68 tick tock that the back of was damaged in storage. That baord is fine but I am looking for another damaged tach to make one good one. Sorry I can't help you but if you by chance find a tach thats working instead of fixing the one you have I would buy your damaged one. Its a long shot, I know, but I have to ask
