I've posted some new pictures on my website that show how the Tremec fit with the console after I centered the tranny in the tunnel. The site is:
www.clubmac-camaro.bigstep.com Use the Tremec/Console link at the left of the home page. On the Tremec 5 Speed page I have pictures that show the difference between the stock shifter and Forte's custom shifter for the 67-69 Camaro that moves the shifter forward about 1.2 inches. ------------------ Mark M. Thanks for the pictures memcgraw. It looks like you are on your way to 5 gears with overdrive. I have a Tremec and 396 BB sitting in my subframe awaiting the body(currently in primer at the shop). How do your reverse lights connect to the Tremec? When I disassembled the car I did not notice any switches for the reverse lights on the 4-speed Muncie transmission. I will be ordering a full wiring harness for the car and will be curious to see if I get the connections and switch for the reverse lights.
