Dial Bore Gauge Indicator Accuracy Change

I am looking to purchase a 2-6" dial bore gauge and would like to have a 0.0001 accuracy. I found a bunch for reasonable prices that are .0005 accuracy. Can I just change the dial indicator to one that has 0.0001 accuracy to make it more accurate. I could get a 0.0001 dial indicator for cheap.

I would recommend buying a complete .0001 bore guage. I've been pretty happy with this one:
