i went to install my new tach, ran white to light switch, light came on. ran the black to ground. ran grean to - side of my coil. ran red to the fuse box to a wire that power runs through when keys on. i think every things great but when i try to start my car it turns over all the time now does not start just turns overeven when i turned the key off and took out the key. i had to disconnect the battery.... what happend????
please help ill be on tonight to answer all thanks brian...

I doubt its the tach. unhook everything then start the car. then start hooking htings back up and see what happens.
