hi guys ,need your help again. been threw all the past posts and got really good info on truble-shooting this gague problem. but what i am looking for is a good picture of the back of the temp gague wired up in the gague pod, i just can't seem to get it right. thanks

thanks for replying markC but i did not find that post, my gauge reads all the way to the left when sender wire is diconnected and switch is on, when you ground the wire it goes all the to the right. so can assume the wiring is right,or can i? i would still like to see some pics on hoe the shunt wires behind gauge pod, thanks again

Yes, it sounds like your wiring is correct, because thats what the gauge is supposed to do.
