I am restoring a 70 camaro and in the mean time I am driving it without a dash, I am trying to install a temporary gas gage and I need to know which wire in the gage plug is the lead to the sending unit in the gas tank? I have tried all butit does seem to work. Thanks for the Help.

If your cluster is an idiot light setup the fuel gage will be pin # 2. If it is a gage cluster it will be pin # 4. Don't forget you have to get power to it also. Pins 5 and 6 are both common power. Hope this helps.
