I recently purchased the headlight doors harness p/n C2480-1E from NPD. The harness I received has only two wires, a brown and a blue, with diodes, and the harness is 2' 7" long. My problem is this harness is not long enough to reach all four switches. I called NPD in FL and MI (where the part was shipped from) and neither departments could help.
Does anyone know where this harness go's too? What harness do I need to connect all four switches together? Thanks guys. |

I think that is the under dash to firewall harness, I'm at work so I cant look to see where it plugs in to under the dash.

The harness they sent you is the RS diode harness that is located under the dash. The two position connector plugs into the mating two position connector which comes thru the firewall from your RS front light wiring. The other end of the brown will plugs into the 'ACCY' location of the ignition switch (same location as existing brown, use pigtail). The blue wire will plug into the headlight switch (same location as existing light blue, use pigtail). The purpose of this harness is to allow the RS relay panel to know when the key is on (via brown), and when headlights are on (via blue). The diode is on the brown wire circuit, this prevents feed-back to the ignition switch. Hope this helps!
