Question

I replaced my regulator and the rubber bolt on grommet thingys(???) that hold it to the bulkhead were rusted and I had to tear them out with pliers. Does anyone know where I can buy them? They're the little I guess you could say rubber wrapped nuts that mount next to the radiator that the bolts which hold the regulator on bolt into.

Thanks for any and all suggestions...Mike

they are called "barrel nuts" and the venders carry a voltage regulator mounting kit which comes with three nuts for mounting. You might want to check out a local industral bolt supply, I get a lot of fastners at a local store and usually at 1/3 the price.

I've found out checking with my local dealer pays off. He comes up with some of the stuff I need and it saves time and shipping costs. Classic industries sells them as well. Hope this helps. Pete
