I have been visiting this site regularly since Aug '99 and I love it. I have learned alot, saved some money and knuckle skin, and hopefully helped someone. However, as the site has grown, there has become alot of smart a$$ comments being made. I know sometimes people ask stupid questions but they probably don't think they are stupid. If I see a question that I am not interested in, click, I'm gone. It's that easy. I would like to see a little more civility shown. After all, we all share a common interest in Camaros. I'll get off my soap box now, just something I've wanted to say for awhile. Anyone else agree / disagree?

There's a time and place for everything, but sometimes I must admit, I can't help myself, and I'm as guilty as anyone. As long as people know you are just kidding around, I don't see any harm in it. Personally, I enjoy a good smart-ass comment once in a while, it makes me laugh, and it makes me enjoy this forum that much more. Let's not take our selves too seriously. Some people just take it way too personal. I think a good rule of thumb is if you are going to post such a comment, follow it with a smiley, Just so there aren't any hurt feelings. Anyway, that's my opinion! KZ

Red face

I agree with KZ and JM both,

I am new to this site. I just bought my 68 conv. about a month ago. I have been wanting to get a muscle car for years. I wasn't really looking for a Camaro, but when I saw this one, I just had to have it. Anyhow, I am ignorant on alot of things Camaro/automotive, so I will ask questions. Some may sound/be stupid to others. But for me, the only stupid question is the one never asked.

So, go ahead, make your SA comments. I can take it. Just so I eventually get an answer that will help.

Thanks

wasnt this a issue a bit ago for asking stupid questions? I agree with above, but sometimes theres not enough info , so you have to post a silly reply. a or would help to commend a joke though.

I think we are all pretty human. Sometimes we want to laugh and sometimes we want to be serious. I have posted some silly stuff as well as asked and answered questions. My only issues is with those who have an agenda to come to this forum strictly to disrupt it. I really have only seen one guy that seems set on doing this. Earlier this evening I tried to give him an opportunity to answer this charge. A couple hours later, the thread was deleted and I can only guess that the admin was tired of this discussion or the reply to my question was so foul that he had to remove it. Anyways, my email address is legit, so anyone can feel free to respond to me on that level. I won't address this any further using the forum.

The first choice was the correct one Jeff. There just isn't any point in keeping his postings around. Your comments were completely inline with everyone else's.
