Is it possible to add a '69 headrest assembly to a '68 bucket seat? If so, any suggestions for sources on the headrest and/or installation kit is appreciated.
Thanks

No, If you want headrests get 69 or later seats.

I have a 67 convertible and it came with headrests. I think it would be fine to put headrests on your car. It makes the seats look good. Idont know what internal parts are necessary for a headrest.

just to state the obvious..... the headrest isnt to rest your head but to stop it being "whiplashed". if you add the 69 or any other headrest the 68 bucket does not have the internal capacity in its frame to provide the strength or safety you (or a passenger) deserve.
