Can I change my tach in my 69 without removing the entire dash?

Yes..take out the 4 tiny screws that hold the lens in. Then remove the three nuts on the back that hold it in. There might be three blue plactic caps on top of the nuts, they are rare so don't lose them. Don't forget to undo the wiring. The tach then comes out the front.
