I know this is a minor detail, but can someone help?
To be factory correct on a 69 door lock knob, should the fluting stop just below the "trumpet", or should it extend halfway up the trumpet? I thought the former was NOS, and the latter was NORS (GM replacement). Repops are like the latter. I bought a set of the former, thinking it was correct, I but want to be sure. |

My originals have the fluting up to about 1/8" below the widest part of the "trumpet".
