Cool

Whats the correct setup for factory tach, where would be the fuel gauge? on the console (I dont have a consol). Is there a factory tach in with a fuel gauge? Where would I get one?

Hey baby, I think you do need to have the console gauges. I've only seen tachs with console. Otherwise were would all the other information be located (fuel, amp, oil)?

The amp, temp, fuel, oil pres. gauges are in the console when a factory tach was optioned. You can mount an aftermarket tach in the RH pod and put in either repro gauges or Autometers new console gauge package to fill in the blanks. If you are after a factory tic-tock-tach be ready to shell out $600+ for just the tach and it may not even work. Add in the gauges and some wiring and say hello to $1k. Ouch.

In 67 and 68 if you wanted a factory tach then you had to get the console with guages to have a fuel guage. In 69 you could have a factory tach without a console or guages because it was possible to get the fuel guage in the center pod instead of the clock or nothing.
