To all,

Having trouble removing my 68 Dash. Anyone know of a good webpage or have step by step instruction (or at least a beginning) for me to use. I would appreciate it.

I would definately get an assembly manual. they are are invaluable asset for these kinds of projects.

Here goes - hang on,
Remove the gauge cluster, reach behind and spin the speedo cable off,disconect the wire plug, pop out the high beam indicator light, disconnect the ground strap, Move to the centre dash, take out the screws at the bottom of the ash tray, undo radio knobs,lift gentle on the centre panel to remove.
Over to the glove box, remove the glove box door screws, remove the cardboard glove box,
working across the dash are several studs from the pad through the dash frame, remove the nuts, at the bottom of the turn down portion of the pad there is a dual spring clip, using a small screwdriver, work the clip to release the hold, give a gentle tug and the pad should come free, expect a good two hours to remove, probaly 4 hours to reinstall.

And if you have an aftermarket dashpad be prepared to yank your hair out. They do not fit well.

If your installing a repro pad I recommend that you be careful removing your old dash.
You may end up putting it back in after playing with the repro and bad quality. You can throw away the screws that hold it above the glovebox and such because the repros don't have this area. Just a warning because I made my original pad worse when I took it out and ended up putting the original one back in wishing I was easier on it when I took it out
