Are the mounts for factory shoulder belts present in a car that didn't come from the factory?

it wasnt even a option in 67, lap belts were the only way. so no , theres nothing to bolt a shoulder restraint to . maybe some fancy welding in the sail panel area could do the trick, but I havent seen one.

I'm not sayin your wrong but in the Camaro Restoration Guide from MBI publishing, Appendix B page 280 shows that code A85 is for Custom Deluxe Front Shoulder Belts in the 67 Camaro. Price was 26.35 and was put into 894 67 Camaros.

Backfire:

I have the headliner out of my 67 right now and there are two threaded mounting holes per side where the shoulder harness would mount. My car doesn't have the factory shoulder harnesses. The mounts should be in every car.

Thumbs up

My 67 RS/SS has factory shoulder belts w/ retainer clips. This is a factory option for 1967. The difference from 67 to 68 was the clips that hold the belts up against the headliner.

Question

Does anyone know where you can get hold of the clips for holding the shoulder belts to the roof?
My '68 has the mounting points under the headliner and I have the belts but nothing to clip them up out of the way when they're not in use.
