Question

I'm curious to find out what products other people have used to clean some of their interior pieces. Gauges, lenses, console, anything vinyl, etc. Let me know what works and what doesn't. I really don't think I'll need to re-spray anything, maybe the console because of scratches, but I want to clean everything first to see how good it will look. Thanks.

For stuff like vinyl, door panels, etc. I like to use that spray scrubbing bubbles that foams up when you spray it. (I don't know exactly what its called, my mom had it in the cabinet.) After I spray it, I brush the area with a stiff brush like you use for scrubbing the kitchen floor. For the guage lenses, I believe that someone makes a polishing compound, but I can't remember who.

Meguiar's makes the plastic polishing stuff for the tach, speedo, etc. lenses.

Cool

The Maguires product is really two separate steps - a cleaner and a polisher. I used them on my guage lenses (which were very cloudy) and had real good results.
