Ok guys, it's pretty much as it said. I was at a friends house with a few of my buddies showing off my new 67 Camaro, then I went to take off and shut the door with the window down, and shattered it. VERY embarrassing to say the least. Friends were laughing telling me to buy a toyota. Anyways I get home and vaccum all the glass out, and I didn't notice and rubber or felting or any kind of protection to save this kind of thing. The other window, although I have not taken it apart feels the same way. Where can I order and entire roll up assembly for both windows? I also want windows as well.

Thanks in advance everyone
Mike

Man thats bad luck,Also friends who would laugh at something like that would not be friends anymore, they sound like PUNKS who drive their MAMAS soccer car!!The door and window parts you need can be bought from several places I use Ricks First Gen,Athens Ga mainly because he is close and they give good service.Phone # 800-359-7717.web www.firstgen.com The glass I dont think they sell it I dont know.Maybe someone will chime in on that.Sorry to hear about the car, tell your friend to *!!@*&!.

I would suspect that you can get glass locally in Cali, don't know if you are in Socal or Nocal, but Classic Industries has a big shop in Socal, they would be a good place to start on the glass. As far as your friends, what tools.

Thanks guys. Oh my friends and I have a long friendship. It goes back since high school almost, and I have known them all for 20 plus years so we always rib on each other. Anyways I did check out Rick's and they didn't have any window stuff, and NPD had the window, but I could not tell the price.

Thanks

Why do you need the window parts\regulator? Yours should be fine. All you might need to do is replace the plastic rollers and lubricate the guides. No need for all new parts. Window felts and window guides can be had at any of the aftermarket suppliers.

He is in Concord CA and has killer prices.

(Make sure you call him, because the website lists only a fraction of his inventory.)

You may be missing the window guides that have a fabric material on them. They keep the window from flopping around. they are available at most resto houses along with the side window.
