Question

If anyone out there is replacing their headliner in a '69, please contact me. I need to know which rod or bow goes in which hole. Please look at yours while you are doing your headliner and let me know which rod goes where. I was handed the rods when I got my car so it is a puzzle to me. Someone said they are color coded on the ends. Mine don't have this. If you could measure yours and let me know which position in the series they go in, I will appreciate it. Thanks

I seen a picture of these laid out recently somewhere. It looks like they are all different and they go from smallest to longest heading towards the back. If you get no help I can check a 69 parts car in my back yard. Its just that its all wrapped and tied up from the winter and a pain to undo. I will try to check if your in a jam. When they were all laid out it looked very easy to make sense out of them. Hopefully this helps.

I should be pulling mine out this week so I'll label them all and then I can probably help you out if noone else can.

I removed my old headliner some months ago and just put the bows back in the locations they were in. I can try to measure the bows and give you the locations of where they are mounted. If you don't mind e-mailing me your phone number, it might be easier to communicate by phone.
