i'm starting on a 1969 RS Convertible that was originally Garnet Red with a black top (52 B) and a standard Red interior (718). does anyone know if the standard RED interior include red or black carpet? i've seen them both ways, and i wasn't sure if one was a "deluxe" option. i know it should have black seatbelts. thanks!

This probably won't help, but my 69 convertible is garnet red with white top and
ivory standard interior, and came with black carpet.

Back in the mid '70s I had a '69 it was all red!!! It had red std interior w/ red carpet, console, dash and dash pad! Didn't use the seatbelts back then but I think they were red as well...

thanks guys. i figured it was originally red, but the camaro on the cover of one of my camaro books is red w/ black carpet...and a red steering wheel! (UG! i'll NEVER find one of those in red!) i may stick with black. that seems like it wouldn't show wear as fast as the red would.
