You guys with original carpet. On a 67 Camaro, is the back flange of the seat bracket poked through a slot in the carpet so the bolt head is covered, or does the bracket rest on top of the carpet? Does the front of the bracket rest on top of the carpet, or do you locate the front half of the carpet so that the bolt is hidden by the rear edge of the carpet?
Carpet has been replaced before by last owner and he did a creative job.
Thanks in advance
The Bone

On my 67 w/ std interior the brackets rested on top of the carpet. That's the way they were installed prior to my replacing the original carpet. Have fun, it's not to bad just take your time.
