Question

The console lid for 68-69 has a pivot arm attached in the front corner. There is also a spring. I know one end of the spring connects through the small hole in the arm. Where does the other end of the spring attach to? It has been so long since I disassembled it, I can't remember. Can anyone help me?

Good question, I had the same problem, and never could figure it out. What a Chinese clusterfudge that turned out to be. I ended up putting it back together without the spring! Hope someone can help us! KZ

Wink

just had mine off too. the spring connects to a small hole in the seat belt holder just forward of the door. i don't think it would be possible to connect without removing the entire console.

Duh!! Now I remember. That's the only piece I don't have in my console yet. I should have thought about it. Thanks trezpan.
