Must be old age but can't remember -- what is the fluid that powers the power convertible top? ATF, Brake Fluid, Regular Hydaulic Fluid. I think it's ATF but want to be sure. Thanks for the help!

Cool

Believe it to be Type A atf.

You might try the dealer, because of Cavalier convertibles, I'm sure the General has taken age into consideration.

Transmission fluid. I think the tag on my motor designated Type F. Put down lots of rags, this is a messy job! And leave the rubber plug out of the motor while you bleed so the air can escape the system.
