My friend wants to install Yenko valve covers on his 68 Vet with a 427. I know there aren't any 68 Yenko Vets. Does anyone know where to buy reproductions or maybe used ones?

I don't believe Yenko had special valve covers, just stock chrome ones. Baldwins had special cast aluminum ones. with B/M cast into them.

The motion valve covers had motion emblems bonded onto them. The same emblems that decorated the fenders, hood & rear of the car typically. Some were simply tall chrome with a motion decal on them.
The aluminum valve covers actually look like this, not what you typically see on ebay. http://www.motionperformance.com/motionvc.jpg [This message has been edited by NastyZ (edited 08-27-2001).] |

Yenko did make valve covers in the 70s and 80s. He had a hi po parts catolog selling all the Chevy parts plus some of his own. Sometimes the Yenko valve covers will pop up on ebay. The were stamped steel with the Yenko logo stamped on them.
