Hello everybody...

k, I have an 89 T/A, and I converted it to caurberated, so I had to rig up a on/off switch for the fuel pump, but now the fuel gauge doesent work.
So I found the wire for the fuel gauge, and I dicked with it for a while.
here is what it does:
the only time I get the gauge to read is if I hook it up to the ground wire for the dome light, and then if I open up the door, it goes to empty, if I hook the wire to a chassis ground, it goes to empty...if I hook it up to the battery negative, it goes to empty....what is going on here!!!!??????

Joshua

Make sure your fuel tank is grounded.
