I pulled out my 383 and found that it has an OEM GM 400 crank part# 3951529. Is this a rare crank? If it is how much would it be worth?

all 400 cranks are the same, as far as i know. cast iron, kinda weak.

Nothing wrong with that crank for street use - it's nodular iron, and will work fine unless you want to add juice or a blower; have built three 383's with that crank in the last 6 years, all are still running strong.
