Hi Parker, my '67 has been stored outside for close to a year now, but it's only seen a couple ice storms here in Dallas. I bought a car cover made from the NOAH fabric from California Car Cover. They have a lot of materials available, but that one was recommended. I've also heard good things about the Stormweave and Evolution 4 materials. At first I was really impressed with the cover, and it fits really well, but after 10 straight months of use it doesn't protect quite as well anymore. We've had over a week of on-and-off rain here, and when I pulled the cover off there was a layer of dust all over the car that had soaked through the cover. No big deal though, my California Car Duster took almost all of it off without having to wash it. If the car gets snowed on, brush the snow off the cover before it melts and soaks through. Also, if you have a spoiler it tends to make the water pool up on top of the trunk (no bueno). Hope that helps.

I stored my orginal Camaro in 69 one wiinter outdoors.
I would never do it again. Rent storage for the bad months and use a good cover until then. I have even asked friends with double garage to rent the space. You can ususally get a good deal. ------------------ Only 69 Z/28s Garnet Red 30,000 mi Glacier Blue Rally Green new in 69 |
