Maybe I was the only one wondering this... but maybe not. I installed a 40 series DeltaFlow Flowmaster on my 1/2 ton last night. I was kinda a test before ordering the American Thunder system for my 68 Camaro. Anyway, my friend has a 40 series on his Dodge and the resonance is terrible! My DeltaFlow has no resonance at all. I even had to drive to work this morning with the tailpipes unhooked (muffler shop had to make some adjustments) and although they were REALLY LOUD, they still didn't resonate.

God I can't wait to get these on my Camaro!!!

I just put the American Thunder kit on my 68. I didn't get any resonance, and the tail pipes look really cool too, as opposed to coming straight out under the bumper. I think it's actually louder than the 2 1/4 inch exhaust I had on it with cheap turbo mufflers though. Sounds awesome!

glad you like it.

I love my American Thunder system with Delta Flow 40 series mufflers. It is on my '68 Camaro.

Great feedback. Interesting as I need a new system for my truck, too.

Can the system be ordered with different tail pipes? I actually prefer the exit of the 68's better than the 69's where is comes straight out the back.

the '68 kit exits as stock... the pipes come down between the rear quarter and the leaf spring on either side. They end there... just about an inch below the quarter panel.

I think the 69 kit comes with tailpipes that exit under the bumper, because it's more expensive, but I don't think it looks very good.

Just my opinion.

I have a 2000 Dodge 5.9L, first thing I did when I bought it was have the muffler removed and had a piece of exhaust pipe in its place. Added a chrome tip and the whole thing cost me like $85, its loud, its cheap and I love it.
