Well I have to update everyone on my “Do I buy a 68”. Thanks to all on this board and everyone who was nice enough to give advice and suggestion, I’m an owner. The car turned out a lot more solid then first look over. I checked all recommended areas of trouble and all looked great. I didn’t even realize it had Houndstooth interior. I could drop in an engine and drive within a few days safely. The wife is now excited about a project. Thanks to everyone. Buy the way, the car is a “Van Nuys” model. Is this something to care about? Why is there interest in this build location?

Congradulationss!There is no real interest in build locations. It really makes no difference except for the 69's which Norwood cars are coded more percisely. I guess people may think Van Nuys cars have less rust being most are from CA, AZ..
