Red face

I bought a 68 Camaro a few days ago. It's a California car and the title is REAL small..like 3"X 3" Is this correct? It was issued in 1980. At the top it says "Ownership Certificate" "do not leave in vehicle". Is this a title?

I bought the car for parts, but now that I really look at the car, it's RUST FREE!.

Thanks for the help.

That would be correct. It should be pink in color as well (hence the term "pink slip").

Scott.

Mine's the same as Dan's but I have seen many of the small ones, same size as a registation... The newer ones are green border with green, yellow and pink in them.

Just sign the back and send it to me! I'll make sure it's correct!

It is the correct older title. I have the same on my truck.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the info. Like DJD said, it looks like a registration..I'll put it in my name, I think I'm going to locate an engine for it and maybe build it into something.
