Try these guys!
I used Gardner and I'm very happy. They advised me against the chambered exhaust because of the noise level.http://www.gardnerexhaust.com/gardnermovie.html

Stenn5 -

What was the problem with the Flowmasters? Will they not fit with the X brace? Is it close? I have been thinking abount this system for my 69 convertible.

Thanks

Go Gardner if you want a great original sound and perfect fit. These guys are great. I put their system on my 69Z last year and could not be happier. John

I think Borla created a 67-69 Camaro conv exhaust system a few years back when Car Craft did the build up of putting the LT1/4L60 into the 67 RS conv. They list a part # for the system in the article, but I'm pretty sure it's for headers, not stock manifolds. Summit Racing lists an exhaust system as well, I'm not sure if it's the Borla or their own.

I have Magna flows on my 69 Convertible. Everything fits including the X support and cross or H pipe too.

Sounds great....not to loud and not too stockish.

Hi Stenn5.
The guy at flowmaster inc told me their system would work if you shimmed the x-brace down a half inch or so. Is it wishful thinking?
