THe former owner installed a Brute Strength posi unit and 4.10 gears.
From what I understand, its a Carrier 4 unit and is suppose to use only gear ratios of 4.10 to 6.10. I would like to install something higher than 4.10's, like 3.73 or 3.55's Does anyone know if there is way to install either of these ratios in a Carrier 4 unit ? Thanks |

You can install 3.73's made for a 4-series carrier. There is no higher (numerically lower) gear ratio available. Ironicaly this is a thin gear higher priced than a comparable thick gear.
