[Indy Z11]

Is this muffler bracket (also on page 117 assembly manual) standard on all 69's regardless of the options on the car? This bracket is used to hang the muffler for a single exhaust system. Would this bracket still be on a 69 that has dual exhaust? My pace car has this bracket and I am not sure why.

Well, the assy manual would probably note if it was only for some applications. I have not seen the manual on this one but if the number of the part is shown, it belongs there.

My car had dual chambered exhaust and did not use the bracket but some kind of extra bracket is up under there I am pretty sure. So I guess (big guess) I would say it was probably installed on all Camaros regardless of exhaust. I also thought the later dual exhaust cross flow muffler system might have used that bracket but I am not as familiar with that setup.
